Shaw Family Collection
The Shaw Family Collection, which dates from 1888 through 1935, includes photographs and newspaper clippings about the Shaw family, as well as photographs of scenes in Oregon and Walla Walla, Washington.

The Sherwood Trust is a private, non-profit foundation which was established in 1991 by Donald and Virginia Sherwood in order to ensure that “their lifelong commitment to the Walla Walla Valley would continue in perpetuity." The Sherwood Trust records, which date from 1959 to 2014, consist of meeting minutes, correspondence, grant information, newspaper articles, a statement of purpose, financial reports, information on investments, policies, and notes.

Morda Coleman Slauson papers
This collection contains the papers of Morda Coleman Slauson, playwright, author, and columnist, who came to Walla Walla from Iowa in 1922 to work as a writer for the Walla Walla Union Bulletin newspaper. Included are newspaper clippings of firsthand accounts from early settlers, and correspondence for her research on Walla Walla and Northwest history.

Smith lived in Walla Walla, Washington and was the Walla Walla County engineer, a councilman, active on the Whitman College governing board and Walla Walla school district, and served as mayor of the city.
