Scope and Contents

The Beverly Stocker Collection contains color slides, a magnetic recording tape and a cassette tape dated approximatley 1983. The tapes are titled “The Fourth Grade” with complementary slides. Other images in this collection were taken on a 5th grade field trip. The materials provide information about elementary school activities in Walla Walla, Washington.

Biographical Note

Beverly Regina Stocker was born in Walla Walla, Washington on November 27, 1927. She grew up in Walla Walla, attended the local schools, and later graduated from Whitman College with a Bachelor’s in Education in 1961. She was a fourth grade teacher at Paine Grade School and Green Park Elementary. Stocker passed away on March 27, 2018.
