William J. Kennell, born in Colfax, Washington circa 1880, graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington in 1903. The William J. Scrapbook, which dates from 1899 to 1906, consists of a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, event pamphlets, ribbons, notes, invitations, snapshots, as well as ephemera from various Whitman College publications.
