Whitman College zine collection
The Whitman College zine collection is composed of various student publications on social and political issues as well as the visual and literary arts from 1967 to 2023.
Robert L. Whitner Papers
Robert L. Whitner, born on December 30, 1917, was a prolific historian of the Pacific Northwest. The Robert L. Whitner Papers, which date from 1944 to 1982, consist of papers written for the Walla Walla Valley Pioneer and Historical Society Newsletters, research files and papers on the history of Whitman College, National Park Service records, and coursework files.
Alan Wing photographs
Alan Wing was born in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Renton High School in 1975. He graduated from Whitman College in 1979 with a major in sociology. The Alan Wing photographs houses his personal photographs and negatives from 1975 to 1979, which document life at Whitman.
Women's Coalition Scrapbook
The Women's Coalition Scrapbook contains a scrapbook started by the Women’s Coalition in 1988 to document women’s presence on Whitman College’s campus. This collection, which spans from 1989 through 2005, consists of programs, clippings, notes and fliers.
Elliott Wood Scrapbook
The Elliott Wood Scrapbook contains Elliott Wood's scrapbook dating from 1922 to 1931. The pages include photographs, pamphlets, and newspaper clippings.
C. Eugene Woodruff Scrapbook
C. Eugene Woodruff graduated from Whitman College in 1921. The C. Eugene Woodruff Scrapbook, dated from 1918 to 1921, contains photographs of Woodruff during his time at Whitman College.
Walt Wyman Papers
This collection contains course syllabi, from 1986 to 2016, taught in the religion department at Whitman College by Professor Walt Wyman.
