From the Collection:

The Keith Farrington papers date from 1970 to 2005 and include documents on budgets, school policies and code, committee meeting minutes, meetings and requests regarding curriculum, memoranda, and faculty governance records. In his time at Whitman College, professor Farrington served as chair of the sociology department, chair of the faculty (1998-2000; 2000-2002), chair of division 1 (1986-1989), and director of the Center for Teaching and Learning (2003-2006; 2006-2008). Committees and councils represented in the Farrington papers include the college athletic committee, council on student affairs, president's council, admissions board, board of review, aid to faculty scholarship committee (ASID), and faculty and academic councils. Areas of possible interest to researchers include academic programs and curriculum.

Personnel related files of the college's faculty and staff, including search, review, promotion, reappointment, tenure, and disciplinary/grievance records, are restricted for 75 years from the date of creation.
