Their extended family includes Blanche’s sister Katharine Harriet Blynn (Auntie), her friend Ellen Garfield Smith (Liber), and Edward’s parents James Tate Rub(e)y and Sarah Aikin (Sallie). Contained are letters of courtship, travel, and daily routine. Also included are letters regarding the death of infant son David Blynn Ruby and condolence letters at the death of E.E.R.
