Biographical Note
Ralph Waldo Snyder was born August 9, 1893. He was a member of the first graduating class of Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane in 1911, and graduated from Whitman College in 1915. At Whitman, he participated in the debate team, the Social Committee, and was the president of his senior class and an editor of the Pioneer newspaper. He served in the Navy during World War I. He then returned to his father's cattle ranch near Washtucna, Washington where he spent the remainder of his life. He died in 1975.
