Scope and Contents
The Woodward Canyon Winery Collection is comprised of photograph subject files, publication files, and a scrapbook. This collection, which dates from 1981 through 2014, also contains promotional materials, newsletters, and invitations to events and celebrations. It also consists of correspondence, philanthropy and wine donation records, menus, and wine labels from Woodward Canyon Winery. This collection gives an insight into the significance of the wine industry in the Walla Walla Valley.

Historical Note
The Woodward Canyon Winery is a winery located in the Walla Walla Valley. It was developed in 1981 by Rick Smalls and Darcey Fugman-Small. It was named after the canyon that Rick’s family farmed for generations before it became the location of the winery. This winery was the second winery to develop in this area and continues to thrive to this day.
