The Pymrel Warwick Silzel Papers houses personal material of Pymrel Warwick Silzel. This collection, which dates from 1928 to 1932, contains five scrapbooks detailing student life at Whitman College. These scrapbooks include letters, invitations, handwritten annotations, photographs, newspaper clippings, and other ephemera.

Biographical Note
Pymrel Warwick was born in 1911 in Washington. She attended Whitman College, studying biology and graduating in 1932. At Whitman, she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, French Club, Mortar Board, and the Young Women’s Christian Association (Y.W.C.A). She also worked for the school newspaper, the Pioneer. She was married twice: to Milton Silzel in 1933 and Earnest Bivins after Silzel’s death in 1975. Warwick was active in the Whitman County Library Board, the board of directors of the Tekos Medical Foundation, and the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O). She had three sons, Jack Sizel, Wayne Sizel, and Wayne Warwick, all graduates of Whitman College as well. Warwick died on July 7, 1996 in Spokane, Washington.
