Peasley B. Chamberlain Papers
Scope and Contents
The Peasley Chamberlain Papers consists of a scrapbook and receipts for payment. These papers, which date from 1822 through 1878, also contains writings that include lectures, addresses and sermons on subjects including secret societies, the role of women and his thoughts on education. There are also correspondence includes letters to The Reverend Myron Eells, Professor A. J. Anderson, and The Reverend H. H. Spalding.

Biographical Note
Peasley B. Chamberlain was born in Vermont in 1826. He married Alice E. Chamberlain, with whom he had three children, Alice, Felicia, and Mary. He died in 1880 in Walla Walla, Washington.
