Walla Walla War Collection
Scope and Contents
The Walla Walla War Collection consists of photographs, postcards, correspondence, newspaper clippings, publications, ration books, cartoons, scrapbooks and Washington State National Guard history. An album of Walla Walla County War Records from 1904 to 1918, a Knights of Columbus poster and notebooks containing "The Impact of World War II on Individual Lives"--essays of Whitman College students are part of the collection.
Civil War artifacts include a diary, correspondence, maps, paper currency and materials related to the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln.
