Biographical / Historical

Kappa Kappa Gamma is a collegiate sorority founded at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois in 1870. The Gamma Gamma chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma has been active since 1918, when it was chartered from a local sorority, Beta Sigma, which had been active on campus since 1910. Kappa Kappa Gamma or Kappa is one of the oldest Greek groups on Whitman's campus.
