Scope and Contents

The Cecil P. "Bud" Compau Collection consists of a photograph album, "Places and Faces," that contains images of the 1918 harvest, camping at Lewis Peak, scenes along the Columbia River, a visit to Seaside, Oregon and photographs of Touchet, Washington school groups. This collection, which dates from 1900 to 1983, also contains a copy of his obituary and an article describing his banking career, in Spokane, Washington.

Biographical Note

Cecil P. "Bud" Compau was born on May 28, 1897 in Elgin, Oregon. He graduated from Washington State College in 1923 before working as a field representative for a bank in Spokane. In 1946 he was elected to the executive board of the Inland Empire Council of Boy Scouts. He died on May 29, 1983.
