Ransom Clark Collection
Scope and Contents
The Ransom Clark Collection consists of a copy of his marriage certficate, news clippings about the Ransom Clark cabin, and receipts and surveys. This collection, which dates from 1859 to 1974, also contains a claim work statement, anestate list and payment, a bill of sale, and accounts delivered by Mrs. L. Clark. Also included are a promisary note, the land claim and deed, the history of Clark Cabin written by Charlotte Reynolds, and the J.J. Reynolds Monument dedication.

Biographical Note
Ransom Clark was born on July 22, 1809. He died on May 24, 1959, leaving behind Clark Cabin, now one of the oldest standing homes in the Walla Walla area.
