The collection contains meeting notes, memoranda, project planning documents, event photography, financial reports, budget estimates, and workshop and presentation notes. A large portion of the collection also reflects Beaulaurier’s work on the Board of Trustees of Walla Walla Community College. Materials in the collection date from 1957 to 2002.

Biographical / Historical

Born in 1930 in Yakima, Washington, Larry Beaulaurier was a Gonzaga graduate (class of ‘52), Korean war veteran, and Walla Walla business man. Beginning work for Whitman College in 1962 in the financial development office, Beaulaurier continued to fundraise for the college throughout his career, which culminated in his appointment as vice president of the office in 1964. He was also active in community organizations, such as the Walla Walla Exchange Club, the Rotary Club of Walla Walla, and Camp Fire Walla Walla. He later worked as a fundraising consultant, after retiring from Whitman College in 1997. Larry Beaulaurier passed away in March of 2018.
