Biographical Note

The Murphy family lived in New York in the twentieth century. Mary Leveridge married Elijah Douglas Murphy. Elijah was a member of the Psi Upsilon fraternity at Maryville College and a clergyman. The two of them had a son, Douglas, who was a World War I veteran.
