Biographical Note
Eloise Thomas was born in Washington on August 2, 1876, and was a school teacher in Walla Walla schools between about 1900 and the late 1930s. During her time in the Walla Walla schools, she worked at the Paine School from about 1900 to about 1902, the Lincoln School from about 1902 to about 1906, the Sharpstein School from about 1906 to 1913 and the Green Park School from 1913 to her retirement some time between 1937 and 1939. She died on January 17, 1961, and is buried in Walla Walla’s Mountain View Cemetery.
