Biographical Note

Henry Kelling was born in 1861 to Anna and Dedrick Kelling. He was the oldest of seven children. By age ten Henry and family moved to Walla Walla, Washington, where he eventually became a bookstore clerk, and then a journalist. Henry Kelling lived in Walla Walla until his death in 1896.
