Historical Note
Walla Walla’s Bicentennial committee was formed in 1974, in anticipation of the 200th anniversary of America’s independence. The committee recorded lectures and interviews during a history series at Walla Walla Community College in Walla Walla, Washington.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Whitman College and Northwest Archives recieved copies of the tapes from Walla Walla Community College on December 14, 1976.
