Content Description
The Blue Mountain Sanatorium Blueprints includes blueprints from the Blue Mountain Sanitorium created by the architect Harold E. Crawford. These blueprints date circa 1935 and 1946. There are blueprints of the layouts of the men’s ward, women and children’s building, first and second floors, and elevation of front, rear, and side exteriors dated 1934. Also included is a general plan drawing for additions to the facility dated 1949.

Historical Note
The Blue Mountain Sanitorium, located at 1150 S.E. 12th in College Place, Washington, operated as a tuberculosis sanitorium from 1935 to 1954, as the Blue Mountain Hospital or County Infirmary from 1950 to 1968, and a group home for the disabled until 1999. The wings were torn down in 1999, and the rest is now a private home
