Biographical Note
Claire Mitchell was born on October 16, 1894. In 1921 she married H. Sherman Mitchell, longtime editor of the "Walla Walla Union-Bulletin." While a resident of Walla Walla, Washington, she published two books about Walla Walla history, "Remember Walla Walla" and "Walla Walla Parks; their story." She died on November 30, 1985.
