David L. Shoemaker was a farmer and a business owner in Walla Walla, Washington. The David L. Shoemaker Records contain two photocopies of daybooks kept by Shoemaker. These photocopies, the originals of which date from 1867-1897, contain livestock breeding records, cash records, and pasture and rent records.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Originals borrowed from Lowden Johnson for the purpose of copying by the Whitman College and Northwest Archives in October, 1969.
