Biographical Note
Thomas Edmund Douglas Jr. was born in Seattle on March 5, 1924. He graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a Chemistry degree in 1944. He worked as a doctor until his retirement in the 1980s, when he began writing an extensive family history. He died on October 10, 1998, at the age of 74.
