Scope and Contents
The Dwelley Jones Photographs houses photographs of the Dwelly, McLean, James, and Mahoney families, amongst others, taken in the early 20th century. This collection consists mainly of portraits, but it also includes photographs of groups, nature, and historic Walla Walla, Washington.

Biographical Note
Charles and Verna Dwelley Jones, both born in the 1880s, married around 1910 and had a son, Dwelley Jones, shortly thereafter. They lived in Walla Walla, Washington, where they were engaged in many social clubs. Charles worked as an investment banker and died in 1942.
