Biographical Note
Alice Reynolds Fischer was born in 1878, and attended the University of Michigan where she graduated with a degrees in piano and voice in 1901. She was the Whitman College instructor of piano-forte and voice, and also served as the Walla Walla Symphony conductor from 1924 until 1934 after her husband’s sudden death. She died in 1945.
