Scope and Contents
The Lowden School DistrictRrecords house the institutional records of the Lowden School District dating from 1870 to 1929. The bulk of this collection consists of Washington School Registers, evidencing student attendance and grades. Also included in the collection are clerk’s record books, negatives of photographs, school building contracts and invoices, a teaching contract, insurance policies, vouchers, and a Northwest School Furniture Company catalog from 1915. This collection documents the school administration records of a turn of the century, rural Eastern Washington school district.
