The Railroads Collection consists of photographs, time tables, promotional materials, newspaper and magazine clippings, annual reports for the Northern Pacific Railroad Company, passenger tickets, and regional brochures. Represented railroads include the Northern Pacific Railroad, Ilwaco Railroad Company, Walla Walla Valley Railway Company, Washington and Columbia River Railway Company and the Oregon and Washington Territory Railroad and information about the Baldwin Locomotive Works is included. Also included are newspaper clippings and writings about Dr. Dorsey Syng Baker, founder of the Walla Walla and Columbia River Railroad.
