This collection contains the organizational records of the Walla Walla District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This collection, which dates from approximately 1948 to 1980, consists of newsletters, pamphlets, minutes, memoranda, and reports, including reports on constructing Mill Creek, floodproofing downtown Walla Walla, and other local projects, as well as records and scrapbooks from the Engineer’s Wives Club. This collection also contains John Day Lock and Dam planning and construction information.
