The Wallace Gendron Papers contains photographs of World War II (1941-45) era, featuring aftermath photographs of bombing raids carried out by Army Air Force pilots. Gendron, an Army Air Force photographer, would follow up on bombing raids, showing the results of air attacks on German targets. Personal memorabilia collected by Gendron during his three years of service, including a survival kit issued to soldiers in the event they are captured. Also includes orrespondence and photographs of Walla Walla Air Base.
