Scope and Contents
This series, which dates from 1984-1989, includes materials related to Craig Lesley's book River Song. Published in 1999, River Song is the sequel to Winterkill and features Danny Kachiah, an Orgonian Nez Perce father, his son, Jack, and indigenous characters with a focus on fishing, traditions, and heritage. Lesley worked on River Song from 1984 to 1989 and recieved a National Endownment for the Arts fellowship for the project. This series includes handwritten notes, research materials, drafts, two galley copies, correspondence, materials related presentations and appearances, publicity, and a radio interview.
