Sound recordings of interviews, 1961-2000
Scope and Contents
This series contains interviews on microcassettes, cassettes, and ¼ open reel audiotapes, dated from circa 1961 to 2000. Many of the interviews appear to have been conducted as research for Orchard’s articles and books, while others seem to be more formal oral histories with local people. In particular, this series contains interviews conducted for Orchard’s book, John G. Kelly, his Life and Legacy. The materials in this series have not been described on the item-level or preserved, but a partial card catalog does exist which describes some of the contents.
