James Alger Fee, born in Pendleton, Oregon on September 24, 1888, graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington in 1910 and had a prolific law career. The James Alger Fee papers, which date from 1895 through 1959, consist most notably of 69 letters written to or by Fee, as well as family photos and newspaper clippings.
